In all the excitement of bringing your new puppy home, it’s easy to forget that you have to get through that very first night. You should keep the crate that your puppy is staying in close to you. Don’t be alarmed by some whining during the night. This is normal. Get up to let your puppy go to the bathroom when necessary. Positive association with its crate is important.
