Bath time is not typically a favorite occasion for dogs, but it is an important part of keeping your pup healthy. If your pooch dreads getting a bath, there are strategies, you can use to make the process a little less overwhelming for them. Watch this video to learn more.

Before the bath, make sure you have all of the things you’ll need, including plenty of towels and dog shampoo. During your next visit, ask the veterinarian at the pet hospital in Saratoga if you are unsure which shampoo to use. If your dog is scared of water, climbing into the tub with them can help, as can using a bowl to rinse their fur instead of using showerhead. Remember, your dog will be much more comfortable when you stay calm and confident.
